Understanding the needs of our clients and serving them to the best of our ability is the way we have always done business. We accomplish this by asking questions, and really listening to the answers.
Founded in 1978 in the Chicago area, with a focus in the heavy duty trucking segment. SCI has always been driven by the desire to provide our customers with the high quality products they need at a fair price. Over the years we have continued to expand both our geographic areas of coverage and the types of industries we serve. Our product lines have a grown to support these additional business areas.
Forging Our Future in the Industrial World
Initially SCI focused on fasteners and soon followed with electrical supplies and brass pipe fittings. Our lines now include an expanded line of all types of fasteners and materials in inch and metric sizes, abrasives, cutting tools, brass and steel pipe fittings and electrical supplies such as solderless terminals, sealed connectors and much more.
In 2002 we also began manufacturing custom wire harnesses for a variety of customers and applications. Three years later in 2005 we began to develop and manufacture circuit boards and power distribution centers primarily geared towards the truck up-fitting sector.
In all areas of our business we strive to meet and exceed the challenges our customers bring to us. By staying focused on listening to their wants and needs we will continue to grow into our future.
